SPRING SEWING FOR INTERMEDIATE BEGINNER KIDS

COST: $140 for three 1.25 hour sessions.
This is a skill-building program for students to acquire knowledge of more advanced sewing techniques. This is a private group workshop (6 participants max.) built to promote independence and confidence, build community amongst sewists and foster possible career avenues and side income potentials amongst participants.
Prerequisite for Intermediate class: One month of Beginner Sewing Kids Workshop.
This is a monthly program with the option of discontinuing as needed. Each month a new technique will be discussed and created through a one-of-a-kind project. For Example: Interfacings, Working with Knits or Freestyle Design.
Intermediate Beginner Sample projects include: Sweat shirt, totebag, A-line skirt, etc.
All supplies are included. Students will choose their own projects which may incur an additional fee for supplies and materials.
Program Highlights
• Focus on implementing basic sewing skills through clear, concise instruction.
• Designed to promote confidence with sewing machine. After a month’s time participant will operate machine independently.
• Free digital sewing resources. We offer over 100 beginner sewing online tutorials and tips.
• Led by instructors with over 20 years of sewing experience.
• In-class Sewing machines, sewing tools and some fabrics are included.

Policies

🔄 Makeup Class Policy: WSC deems emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Emergencies include related death in family, contracting a contagious illness or injury to Client or Client's family members. In this case rescheduling services is appropriate. Client must reach out to Creative Consultant in a timely manner (24 hours before seminar or workshop start time.)

Equipment
• Having a sewing machine at home is preferred
• Instructor available to assist with purchasing a standard-sized sewing machine
Additional Information
• Optional Homework assignments will be given, however, regular practice is essential for progress.
• Masks are not required but preferred.
• Arrive 5 minutes early to set up your sewing machine.
