Intermediate Kids Monthly Sewing Workshops

Dates: Saturday's December 2, 9, 16, 2023.

11:20 AM-12:40 PM Intermediate Beginner Kids Session (Ages 8-16)

12:40 PM-2:00 PM Intermediate Beginner Kids Session (Ages 8-14)

Beginner Intermediate Workshop is $130 for three 1 hour and 20 minute sessions (total of 4 hours).

Location for this event is in Historic College Park, GA 30337 Address will be emailed after registration.

Church Conditions ***The church has a No-Child Abuse Policy in place in which they request parents to stay on campus for the length of the class. There is seating inside the Fellowship Hall also. Thanks for complying. ***

Class size: 6 students maximum per session.

This is a skill-building program for students to acquire knowledge of more advanced sewing techniques. This is a private group workshop (6 participants max.) built to promote independence and confidence, build community amongst sewists and foster possible career avenues and side income potentials amongst participants.

Prerequisite: One full month of Kids Beginner Sewing Workshop or knowledge of threading sewing machine, sewing straight lines, curves and
squares.

This is a monthly program with the option of discontinuing as needed. Each month a new technique will be discussed and created through a one-of-a-kind project. November-Interfacings December-Working with Knits or Freestyle Design.

Intermediate Beginner Sample projects for November include: Sweatshirt, totebag, A-line skirt, bonnet, bucket hat, etc.

All supplies are included. Students will choose their own projects which may incur an additional fee.

Masks are not required for these workshops! Masks are preferred.

Please arrive 5 minutes early in order to set up the sewing machine and be ready for the class session.
